The Neighbourhood

Strathcona is Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood.  It is conveniently located a 15-20 minute walk West to downtown Vancouver  or another 15 minute walk East will land you on trendy Commercial Drive.  The neighbourhood is also within walking distance of the Pacific Central train station and Greyhound bus station, Science World, GM Place and BC Place.

The eclectic neighbourhood is  home to many artists, and non-professional  renovators who have dedicated their lives to restoring 100 year old houses.

Benny’s Italian Foods and Union Market are  two landmarks of the community and are located  just a block away from Urban Suite Digs.  You can enjoy deli counter delights, home made sandwiches , and individual meals  to go.
